Because it is the time when the temperature rotates between the 70s and 80s to give you a fully relaxing and enjoyable environment. That’s why I was considered in the list of best places to travel in May 2018. This not just saves you from the extreme cold weathers but also makes your tour budget in a friendly way. Summer would be more convenient to keep an eye on your bank balance but it is the time of heavy rains and afternoon showers, so get prepared for that.

The sopping in Miami is much expensive and classy. The currency used in Miami is the US Dollar. Dine in

The streets of Miami Beach are lined with high-end dining establishments heaving with the smells of Peruvian, Cuban, Caribbean, Asian and American cuisine. What other cities call “fusion” has a name of its own in Miami Beach: “Floribbean.”

But we will still prefer a bike because the car can never be so adventurous if you really want to feel the moments. Moreover, driving will bring headaches, particularly when parking is limited at peak hours. If your feet begin to tire, there are buses run by Miami-Dade Transit.

4. Athens

Athens has all the beauty of historical views, which a writer or pot could ever imagine in their stories and poems. No city can beat Athens for the beautiful moments of sunrise on the Acropolis. Which displays an artistic view of the beauty with mystery.

Athens know the power of calmness and relaxation to make their lives feel stronger and peaceful. Their days do not run very hastily like other cities but they possess a glory of tranquillity in their nature. Their nights are also not like the nights of others, you will experience full adventure nights in Athens. Like, the aroma of spicy dishes, music beats rise from nearby clubs and the dance swings at various rock stages. The Omonia Square suddenly lit up with the glorious sparkles.

If you want to fully enjoy the sunrise and sunset’s historical beauty of Athens. It is the time from March to May and then, from September to November. It is the best time of spring and fall when the weather is so courteous to make you feel comfortably delightful. These are the best period to enjoy at peak with fewer crowds and cheaper hotel rates. If you like to have a tour in winter, it is pretty in own sense within December to February. Winters are relatively mild and less harsh than other European countries, due to Greece’s location. Just avoid visiting in summer, because it might be a little inconvenient to bear the sizzling hot weather in Athens.

Language and dress

The only hurdle you will face while having a tour to Athens is language. As Athens use Greek as their official language so you wouldn’t get any person talking in English. No other option, you better take some Greek to English dictionary with you or have some language classes before planning the visit. A better idea is to know their gestures for a convenient body language, which are usually different than Americans. Like, they nod downward for Yes and upward for No. Never use a thumb or index finger, it might cause your relation with Athens in danger!

Dine In

If you are fond of differently tasted delicious food varieties, Athens is not that bad to dine in. They have all the traditional and new food items on their menu. But the thing matters more is which place you chose to enjoy the meal at full. The traditional dishes of Athens are:

  • Moussaka
  • Baklava

All these dishes are just the specialities of Athens’ cuisine, giving a mouth-watering tastes. Which you may enjoy at places like:

  • Lithos
  • Plaka
  • Funky Gourmet
  • GB Roof Garden.
  • Psaras Traditional Restaurant

Further, if you are in search of peace and comfort, we will suggest you have a meal away from the trash of crowds in Koukaki, Mets or Pangrati. But remember that Athenians never din for dinner before 9 p.m. so, the maximal zest can be found after 10 at night.

Tourists are ever in the eye of pickpockets and you might be the next target of them. So, to have a safe and sound trip you should follow the safety measures. Like, you may leave the very expensive items in your hotel or the residence in Athens. Moreover, Ethnical-oriented harassment is very common there especially at night in Omonia and Exarchia, so, it would be a better choice to leave these places before the sunset or at least before the dusk.

5. Tokyo

Tokyo is definitely the world’s largest metropolitan economy, even exceeding New York City. That’s why it can be listed as one of the top places to visit in Southeast Asia. Though, it is not the cheapest but cheaper than Singapore. Which makes it one of the affordable Asia destinations for a family tour. The differently unique culture demands to be understood exactly from the point of entrance. You will see a totally segregated class trend in Japan especially in Tokyo.

They are many crazy and enthusiastic people. Movement is their theme, you will see Japan’s mega city constantly buzzing. The sidewalks, roads, streets, subways, and ports all move crazily along the days and nights. Still, the lights and loud signs are enough to stop you and ask to pay at the altar of consumerism. This is a city that feeds on motion and progress.

Though, the passed through the museums and monuments so speedily with an exception of Cherry Blossom season (it is the time all of them run toward Greenland for fun). But, they respect the tourists and their schedules, you may plan any month of the year to enjoy the historical sites in Tokyo. You can have a lot to visit, take photos, eat sushi and shop for your dream gears. Some never missing places are:

  • Tokyo National Museum

  • Sensoji Temple

The best time to visit Tokyo is between March and April and September and November. Because the autumn and spring both come up with colourful Cherry Blossom and comfortable temperatures.

Language and tradition

Japanese is usually spoken in Japan but a larger group of people in Tokyo speaks English, especially at hotels, transit stations, and popular attractions. You must take off your shoes if you are invited into a Japanese home or are entering more traditional accommodations or restaurants. When not sure about their traditions just look at the entrance, if there is some shoe rack, it is the clue for you. The gift exchange is a common style to stronger relationships with Japanese but you better never forget the gift to be wrapped and make sure to offer and receive by with both hands. But don’t open it in front of them.

Japan uses the Yen but the major credit cards are also acceptable in most establishments in Tokyo. However, you must also bring some cash on hand if you want to venture to off-the-beaten-path destinations, which don’t accept cards.

It’s scary that Japanese ATMs mostly take Japanese cards, even if your provider is listed on its ATM but the visitors will find compatible ATMs with their foreign cards at the post office, 7-Eleven’s or Citi banks.

Dine in

Tokyo is considered the foodie capital of the world, winning a number of prestigious dining awards for its chefs and culinary collection. But the truth is that the number of restaurants is not the actual reflection of Tokyo’s worthy dining. But most of the food items are imported from Europe. The reason behind their winning in cuisine the title of “Foodie Capital” is that they have lax import laws, immense dedication to culinary traditions and an aptitude for consistency.

Another way in which the Tokyo food scene stands out is the abundance of chefs that specialize in just one dish and spend their lives perfecting it. Jiro Ono is one of these, who has been making sushi since he was 9 years old. There are a lot of other examples with chefs specializing in ramen, tempura, yakitori, udon noodles, miso, and soba noodles. Additionally, Japan is the seventh biggest beer consumer in the world.

Some special cuisines to visit at must are:

  • sakitori
  • unagi
  • Kaiseki

As compared to other bigger cities like in Europe, Tokyo is safer, the crime rates are lower and probably no report of pickpocketing. However, if you are going to hang out with friends or single, do all safety measures and make pre-selection of the points to visit. Because, the Shinjuku, the red light district of Kabuki Cho, Roppongi and Ikebukuro have been reported for theft, assault and offensive crimes by the State Department.

7. Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls that border Zambia and Zimbabwe is the largest waterfall in the world by total area. Victoria Falls called “Mosi-oa-Tunya” by locals meant to be “the Smoke that Thunders”, which is a breath-taking scene of unique beauty and magnificence.

The largest water curtain in the world, this enormous waterfall on the Zambezi River on the border can be heard from 40 kilometres away, as the waters of the normally placid Zambezi river fall over the edge of the wide basalt cliff into the magnificent valley 100 meters below. The spray of the water can be seen from 50 km away as it rises 400 meters in the air, creating permanent clouds and endless rainbows. Across the falls is a basalt wall of the same height covered with dense jungle, offering magnificent views of the main falls and the number of continuous falls as the water zigzags through the series of gorges.

Dine in

We all have our favorite spots to eat in the city and it’s hard to branch out, but what do you do when you end up on an island with your family on a trip. When you’re traveling one of the highlights of your trip is often sampling the local cuisine, and a fantastic way to learn more about a country’s culture is through experiencing its food. We all know how overwhelming it sometimes can be to choose the perfect restaurant for you, your friends and family, especially in an area you may not be familiar with. We’ve created a list of our Top 10 Restaurants in Victoria Falls. The given list will give you everything as a dining option in Victoria Falls.

  • Saveur Restaurant
  • Fernwood Pizza Company
  • IL Terrazzo
  • Sam’s Deli
  • MoLe Restaurant
  • Jam Cafe

Victoria Falls enjoys a mild and dry winter from around June to mid-August and is an all year round destination. We have a warm to hot spring until the rains start in mid-November; it becomes warm and wet and stays so until the rainy season passes at the end of April.

The US dollar is now the official currency of Zimbabwe, things are no longer priced in Zimbabwe dollars as it does not exist. Great arts and crafts are available on both sides of the falls. Don’t miss the bustling Maramba Market, worth a visit for the atmosphere alone, and browse the woodwork, masks, handcrafted jewelry, sculptures, and other trinkets at the craft market that borders the entrance to Mosi-Oa-Tunya.

This is a small town, focused primarily as one would expect, on tourists. So there is an array of curios shops, arts and crafts, galleries and little boutiques and tasty restaurants. Some of which are

  • Elephant’s Walk
  • Landela Centre
  • Phumula Centre

So even when Zimbabwe was going through its worst times Victoria Falls always remained a safe destination, and as I write this I would confidently state that Victoria Falls is a perfectly safe tourist destination. Tourism understandably declined dramatically during the height of the political tension, but is now rapidly on its way back up again. I would like to encourage you see through any bad press, as this really is a safe place to visit.
